If you thought the Heat was done adding to their roster, you thought wrong.
According to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, Miami has reached a deal with top shooter Eddie House, who was a playoff hero for the Celtics and spent last season with the Knicks.
The 32-year-old, who played the first three seasons of his 10-year career in Miami, comes in on a two-year deal worth $2.8 million. The second year is a player option at $1.4 million, according to Yahoo!.
House made big shots for the Celtics during their 2008 playoff run, but shot the lights out in the 2009 postseason, averaging 48.6 percent from three-point range. House has a 39 percent average for his career.
The Heat selected House in the second round (37th overall) of the 2000 NBA draft.
Yahoo! also reported that the Heat is still weighing the possibility of signing free agent Tracy McGrady.
